Minutes of Meeting -10/08/2006 ( Conference Call 2)
The Points that we discussed today (10/08/2006)- Sunday.
Participants: Ananda Kumar and Giriprasad Lankipalle
- Tutor Vista got the Venture Capatal of 2 million dollars
- We will be targetting 5 companies for understanding the EPO process
3 companies - to talk to presenting ourselves as parents
2 companies - to sponser 2 students of our choice to know the actual process and quality of education.
- Also discussed What if we associate with some SEP as partner to etablish in India. It is for marketing stage. We will conider this option in later stage.
- Primary things to know are-
1. Is it workable?
2. How EPO it works?
3. How to identify the client and actual EPO Business?
4. Study the competetion?
We will be focussing on this in the 1 st phase.
- Ananda will come out with some quetionnaire that we can ask the EPO companies after he talks to parents, teachers that he know.
- We have to commit more time and efforts to contribute and work agressively.
- Publish our idea in Forum and see the feedback from people ( Focus on k-12??). Inviting ideas from people on improve it.
- Finding out some one in India who can be a partner to us who can work for us in an EPO company to get the more information. We decided to take a new person who can be a potential partner rather than exiting employees of the EPO Business.
- Also dicussed the idea of Certifying Tutors/ Training tutors from exiting coaching centers like Brillient Tutorials. The coaching could be on communication skills.
Action Item:
- Identifying 5 EPO companies ( Giri, Ananda and Shiby)
- Progress on Identifying 2 students ( Ananda and Shiby)
- Posting the quetions in 3-4 forums ( Giri and Ananda)
- Creating Sub Tasks and Miletones for the Analsys phase of the project ( Ananda)
